Fixed. - items are now automatically adjusted to appear on ground (not as if floating in air) - fixed the walls, which were actually mirror images :) - a bit faster isometric mode - rotating in FPP mode now done with Home and PgUp

This made me play IVAN again! Its the same thing for me :D It really gives another feeling to the game. Its a lot more immersive. I know i ve already said it, but it does not hurt : awesome job :) is it planned to make transparency for walls in isometric mode ? its hardly playable for now

True, I don't usually even touch iso mode... I was saying that in 3d mode, the stairs appear on the ceiling, but i think they should appear as an object, if possible, as actual stairs, made with polygons.

I haven't had a chance to try this patch yet, but just out of curiosity... when enemies are levitating are they actually off the groung? Or is it just the little blue arrow?

The enemies currently are always shown just like in the original. Levitation is shown with an arrow. Also their size is the size of their graphics, so small monsters (like spiders) have full size pictures (and sometimes look as if over the ground). Possibly I will try to change that later. However, PC's eye level depends on size and levitation.

Did you install the most recent version of the file Z made? What exactly doesn't work? You need to be a lot more specific if you want help.

Hippy: Yes, I rather can't help you without any details. There is only one version on the site, so you probably have the most recent one. Remember to put data files in the script subdirectory, and to press 'x'. hrmpf: The patch should work in Linux. I would like to see some screenshots of my work done by someone else :) Hexi did some in one of the previous patch versions, but they are missing now, I don't know why.

I screwed up the wiki and managed to lose a lot of the images some time ago. Sorry about that.

I don't exactly understand what you mean... Switching from 3D to normal and back is now just a matter of 'xxx'. (For me, pressing 'xxx' is faster than focusing my sight on another part of the screen.) In FPP mode you can press '#' to have a small part of the normal view in the corner, so you won't be attacked from behind (if you are looking at it).

Could you try to copy this error message? Not seeing it I have no idea why it does not work. The original Ivan.exe does not work with my modified data files (it is annoyed when it sees the SpatialFlags which it does not understand), so if you return to original Ivan.exe, you also have to return to original data files.
