That sounds like fun! Seeing as how I've already played the normal game to the hilt, perhaps I should try Wizard Mode.

HolyBanana, I thought of one more thing. Right now when I press crtl-2 to bring up my weapon skills, not all skills are shown. I think there's enough space to show all the weapon skills at one time. Will this be addressed in the next version?

It seems that some of us weren't happy just with a new version of IVAN after all... "Do this! Do that!" =)

Freelance Berzerker- 08-27-2006

Just giving some (I hope helpful) input. I figure we should let them know all our requests now, since it'll probably be a long time before the release after the next one.

Maybe we should avoid to ask for new things here( Devs already have enough work ) and just concentrate on annoying bugs and things like this. For example , in Ivan you can have big trouble if you type "h"eal while you are very poisonned ( the poison killed me while i was healing because my health would decrease quicker than healing, it happened so fast i couldnt stop it ) . Maybe healing shouldnt make turns go on so fast ? ( on the other hand i think that on some other computer healing was going verryyy slowly... )

Or perhaps it would give you a confirmation if you wanted to rest while you are poisoned?

Mattitude- 08-27-2006

Other games kill you outright if you try to rest while poisoned. Just sit on the . key and wait it out or explore the rest of the level and hunt for a healing/antidote potion. Most poisons aren't too long-lasting, anyway. Besides, you would have died anyway from acute poisoning, even if you weren't healing.

Somagu- 08-27-2006

What if you didn't realize you were poisoned, and had an antidote on you? Unlikely, but probably possible.

Mattitude- 08-27-2006

Perhaps. Maybe there can be a similar condition to being paralyzed by a web or trap on the little body graph up in the top-right. That vomity shade of green bands across your torso instead of black or something. It's a pretty bright color, so it should grab your eyes well. Or if "poisoned" were written in either green, or red like "Fainting."

Dont you think leprosy should also be shown on the paper doll? While I dont know much about the initial stages of the disease (whether its clearly visible or not), the later stages with disfigurement and arms and legs just dropping off are QUITE visible, I think.

Mattitude- 08-27-2006

It IS visible, though very subtle and often missed. "You feel you're falling in pieces." Ever saw that? That's you catching leprosy.

Freelance Berzerker- 08-27-2006

What I mean is that you shouldn't have to use a stethoscope to notice it. If your "status" display shows "dizzy," "rolling," and pretty much everything else, "leprosy" should also be there.

Freelance Berzerker- 08-28-2006

One more request: called shots (with a penalty of course) would be a great addition to the game. Master swordsmen should be able to choose which limbs they want to rend.

Battleguy01- 08-28-2006

yeah i like games where you can do that.

blob- 08-28-2006

Besides, you would have died anyway from acute poisoning, even if you weren't healing. No. I had a healing potion. Didnt want to use it before i was sure i was going to die. No item to waste in ivan.
