Level 20 is meant to be the maximum level attainable to mortal beings. I think higher levels are needed mainly by abusers, not normal gamers. Level 64 is a bug which is now fixed.
I'll see what I can do for pet stats.
That would be great. Whereas player-character attribute advancement tails off rather quickly, some pets easily break the 100 barrier.

I don't know if this counts as a bug, but I'd like to submit it as well:
I'm currently able to arm my pets who are strong enough with two backpacks of gunpowder. They can attack suicide dwarves, and even explode them without exploding the two backpacks they are using for the pummeling. I don't know if you coded the present version so that the gunpowder used as a weapon doesn't ignite because it is soaked in blood, but it seems to me even damp gunpowder would be subject to a chained explosion.

you can already exchange places with pets - just tell them not to follow your and they immediately trade places with you. Then just tell them to follow you again

That only works when there isn't an enemy in sight as far as I know...
Anyway, I'd just like to point out to our awesome DEVS skeletons shouldn't drown...

Blood-soaked gunpowder not exploding is a feature.
I will see to it that at some point there will be a "Never resist displacing nor displace me." command in the AI menu. However, some pets like archangels will have too big an ego to follow such orders from petty mortals.
Alas, mana will not yet be used in the next version.

I have to comment that you shouldn't take the intellectual abilities and the life experience (wisdom) of banana growers lightly. Talk to them. Most of them are former diplomats, philosophers, teachers, doctors etc. which Decos has put to this work since it's the most profitable for his corporation's needs. No one makes money many with a philosopher, after all.
The colonists, on the other hand, eg. the encourager and the rookie guards, are mostly morons exiled from Attnam to this faraway colony for various reasons.
So you've got it quite backwards this time :wink:
