Even so many years after his death people still measure modern martial artists against Bruce. When Tyson was still game, people would wonder "could Bruce take him down?" I doubt people will say the same thing about Jet Li or Jackie Chan 20 years after their deaths.

This guy was the living, perfect street fighter character. Some powerful fusion between chun-li and ryu.
Uhm, Blob, there already IS a Bruce Lee character in Street Fighter, well, Street Fighter II at least, and I think there was a version of SFA3 with him in it. Fei Long, that is.

Bruce Lee characters in almost every game you can think of in the fighting genre: World Heroes, Tekken, etc.
Even "original" Japanese animation such Fist of the North Star is based on Bruce Lee. The man was just too BAD.

Yes, there ARE ****load of Bruce Lee characters in fighting games, but I was just stating to Blob that there already was one in SF.

err... jackie chan 's not really trying to be the most strong man in the world like bruce could have tried. He makes kung fu, he acts, he makes comic movies, but he still keeps a life. Not really comparable i think.

Yeah, but do consider that Jackie Chan's Chinese name, Cheng Long, means "to become a dragon," or more specifically "to become (like) Bruce Lee."

Maybe. I'd have to do some reading to verify the tale about his name. It's quite well known that Jackie was just a get-punched-stuntman in couple of Lee's films back in the day and a complete Bruce-lee fanboy.
