Best materials??
What's the best meterials for equipments? I mean, what's the best material for a cloak, gauntlet etc.

The best? Well. That's really a tough question. Different people will give you different answers, and it also depends on your situation. The only piece of equipment I can think of off hand that has a "best" material would be the cloak, and even then there's an exception. Golden eagle feather is technically the best substance in this situation, but is completely unobtainable outside of wizard mode (except for one artifact made of it). So, spider silk is the best material for a cloak. For all other equipment, the "best material" is somewhat subjective, though in most cases it will be valpurium, which is the hardest material in the game, and has a low weight and emits light to boot. Good luck aquireing it on anything other than a shield or two-handed sword (as gifts from Valpurus); you need 55 INT to CM items into valpurium. Spider silk is also a popular choice, due to high strength, low weight, and flexibility; however again, it requires a lot of INT to aquire. Also, it is less than half as strong as valpurium, and is also weaker than a number of other materials. If you want details about all the materials, do a search for "materials guide" and look for a thread by me titled something like "uber spoily guide to materials". I think the meanings of the numbers are somewhat explained in the thread, in addition to there being the list itself.

When it comes to weapons, however, adamant is often better than valpurium. This is due to the fact that it is heavier thus giving the weapon a greater kinetic energy which, of course, means that the skulls crack open more easy.

*sigh*, from that last message alone, the part about how "skulls crack more easily" you can see how unfair IVAN is. giving monsters heads harder than steel.

Editting the script is fun! I made the valpurium thing as light as air and as strong as umm.. Uhhh... Well, it's REALLY strong...

I suppose that method works too. Just make sure you kept a backup of the script file, or at least remember the original values for valpurium... believe me, nobody will credit you a win if you achieve victory with modified script files.

Editing the script never works for me, so I just leave it alone.

I have a back-up of the script, I use it when I like to play the game without cheating. But summoning alot of Petruses and destroying them is soo fun!

ya... Ok i just use the lanturns or the light to kill monsters.

Just wondering, is arcinite (spelled right? That gold material) good for anything? forgot to ask, I just got a mushroom limb from Nefas, do they heal?
