Compiling IVAN
So, I downloaded the source code and realized I needed to get the SDL stuff. I've got that working now (I assume), but the code still wont build. ...\Ivan Source\Main\Source\wsquare.cpp(170): error C2668: 'fabs' : ambiguous call to overloaded function (wsquare.cpp line 170) ...\Ivan Source\FeLib\Source\bitmap.cpp(884): error C2086: 'int c' : redefinition (bitmap.cpp line 884) and 8 occurances of the following: ...\Ivan Source\Main\Source\lsquare.cpp(2189): error C2668: 'sqrt' : ambiguous call to overloaded function in lsquare.cpp ..... line 2189 human.cpp ..... line 2704 stack.cpp ....... line 1181 lsquare.cpp .... line 2190 materias.cpp .. line 120 item.cpp ........ line 91 stack.cpp ....... line 1173 char.cpp ........ line 2172 and finally a couple hundred warnings complaining about casting longs to chars. I figured rather than try to tamper with your code, I'd ask the experts first and see if I'm doing something dumb. I'm using M$ visual studio 2003 .net and just opening up IVAN.dsw and building it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
