I have it. It's ... entertaining. It depends if you like the Morrowind/etc style of freeform exploring/roleplaying/etc. It can take a lot of time, and try your patience at times, but other times it's great fun. It's incredibly good at burning time, that's for sure.

Yeah i liked morrowind so i think i d quite like oblivion too. But they always make the same mistakes. Very bad difficulty settings : the beginning is 100 times harder than the rest of the game when you ve grown powerful skills. Then the animations are ugly, pure crap, always. Shit, it's not that difficult to have correct animations, they put so much money in graphics to have so shitty animation. That s just dumb.
I read that in oblivion monsters were evoluting with you. which means that whatever your strengh is , a basic bandit will be an opponent of your strengh. it also means that if you rush to some deadra place while you are weak you ll be able to beat them because they ll have your weak level too. Dumb.

Well, it's kinda like that. Everything will always be challenging. It's not perfect though -- my current character is having serious issues with a daedra place because he has fairly low toughness. You probably could clear it at a lower level (as the enemies would be weaker as well) but it'd still be a challenge, probably.
The animations are much better, also. It uses an actual physics engine -- no more floating items or pre-rendered deaths -- and there's also a lot more variation in what people look like.

oh well, no pre rendered death is always that. That always looked ugly when you died while jumping.
