Linux 0.50 RPM
Hey there, in the process of teaching myself how to make RPMs, I packaged IVaN. This was a 'can I do it' kinda thing, but now that I have, I figured maybe someone else would find this useful. http://www.mediafire.com/?njz1tnydymm You'll need SDL and libstdc++.so.5. I built these on a openSUSE 11.1 machine, but hopefully they work elsewhere. Let me know how you get on. I just spent quite a while wrestling with this, and I have just realised I have neglected to add any menu items, so you'll have to run it from a terminal or run dialogue, sorry. Apologies for the mediafire link, but I don't have access to any other hosting. If anybody wants me to, I could try and make a bundled tar.gz build that exists in a folder. This is my first rpm, so there's bound to be a mistake or three. I already know of one: there needs to be a 'games' group, and you must be a member of it. Now, I'm looking forward to actually playing the game. =p
