little buggy things... I didnot see those bugs posted on the forum so here they are, even if they are quite obvious bugs :
- any monsters vomit when ill , i m still trying to imagine giant mushrooms spreading vomit all around
-when you kick something it actually kicks everything on the same place ( i had trouble for stupidly kicking some boots on an altar) - i read there was the same problems with the open command-
well that s not much for a new topic...

- praying to Silva in the dungeon level without walls hangs the game
TheFallenOne222- 04-05-2005
Figured I'd post the bug here rather than starting a new thread.
I started a new character and found the Bones level of one of my old characters (The old character was Kyle, the new character is Kyle 2). I picked up his two severed Ommel Hair Legs (Hey, why not? lol), and carted 'em back to town. When I talked to Mirvo, the Tailor, he asked if I wanted to repair the Ommel Hair legs from Kyle. And yes, I still had both of my legs on Kyle 2. If I tried to repair them, the game crashed.

Thanks. :) We'll fix these.

Another minor typo:
"Sherarax the mistress queen slashes you in the left arm with her spider silk chameleon whip whip covered with blood +3! She whip asks for the help of Scabies as it polymorphs you."
(Stupid thing. I hate polymorph, too powerful a weapon to have used against you.)

Another bug:
If you're dual-wielding weapons and fighting a monster that can teleport, if it teleports after your first hit, the second hit can still hit/kill the monster.

Not really a "bug":
When you bump into an invisible mystic light frog or the chief guard in attnam, it just says " this might cause an hostile reaction..." if you cant see them it should tells you more, something like " You bump into an invisible creature.Do you want to attack ?".

I've never actually managed to land the second hit though...

I have, I've killed several Unicorns and Blink Dogs like that.

Another random little thing...
nut
{
DefaultSize = 3;
Possibility = 5;
Category = FOOD;
DefaultMainVolume = 25;
StrengthModifier = 50;
BitmapPos = 16, 208;
FormModifier = 10;
MainMaterialConfig == HUMAN_FLESH;
NameSingular = "nut";
Roundness = 90;
AttachedGod = NEFAS;
WieldedBitmapPos = 160, 368;
IsValuable = false;
}
Why is a nut made of human flesh? (Unless this is only supposed to show up as Petrus' nut, but it does spawn as just "a nut", which it shouldn't do if it is only supposed to be Petrus'.)
Atomic- 04-07-2005
Well let's put it to you this way:
All men (well, most men) have two nuts. Petrus' nuts happen to be rare (as there are only two) and valuable (as proof that you kicked his ass). Some people make copys of said nuts. However, Petrus isn't the only person with two nuts. So, inevitably, some people have lost one or both of their nuts. That's what you found.
If you looked at the image you'll notice that it isn't a walnut, or a chestnut. It's got a little thingy dangling off it.
If I need to spell it out more clearly, you might need to look in your pants. Or talk to your parents, or something.
One final note: you'll notice also that it's attached god is Nefas, not Silva, as a nut would be. Nefas is the goddess of forbidden pleasures and such.

I'm aware of that, lol. But look at the item definition: It's listed as a FOOD. And I didn't find one, I was taking that from something someone else said, it just doesn't make sense to me. And when someone sees "a nut" on the ground, I'm pretty sure they're thinking "mm, food.", not "Ooh, a -*test*-('")icle!"
Atomic- 04-07-2005
Most humans also wouldn't see a lump of school food as "food" but it can be eaten, and be nutritious (after a fashion). Also it does have the image attached. When I first found one I went "A nut? Is that... WTH! Wonder what will happen if I eat it." And then I got leprosy. And then I died.

- someone mentioned in another thread, but I witnessed it too: sometimes after winning (?) with Alfred, the crowd is deadlocked
- bottles can hold acid, but glass wall can be destroyed by vomit (I am not a chemist, so I don't know how it should be); (I had an entertaining fight once when Alfred made me panic, teleportisis made me exit the ring, and I got back inside by vomitting on wall)
I had something else, but I forgot.
blob- 04-08-2005
I created a charac called "-*test*-('") wiz" , put into wizard mode to quickly check what happened when i bumped into an invisible frog in attnam and quit.
Now when i make a character with the same name, the game freeze.
