My quest for the 40ies.
Stats that is. I want to get a character's stats to the same level as Sherax, or Petrus. So far I have achieved the follow without clonning stat boosting food items. 40 AStr : Use a halberd 40 Dex: Use whips 40 End : Let the killer plants on UT3 nibble you down to black on your torso then run away and heal up, repeat. Takes a while. Int,Wis,Cha talking So all that is left is Agi and Per. I can get Agi to 24 and no higher, Per hits 18 and stops. Anyone know how to get these last two values any higher?

Hmm. I've managed to attain high Per stats by wearing two shields and dodging plant attacks. This was while testing my acid shield. Other than that, all I can say is find a carrot and clone it like mad, or polypiling for them. I just had a character with 19-21 Per via carrots (and a little natural training somehow). Searing also might train Per, I'm not sure. I would assume dodging also trains Agi.

easiest way to 40 END is praying to mellis for lots of school food. To get agility high you have to pray to mellis for water and run as much as possible (No atomic not just run and do nothing but run but play the game while running) and never be stressed. Mellis also gives you ommel sweat sometimes. Agility seems to be the most easily abused stat, abused by healing, talking, being bloated or overfed and once it is above 18 or so its seems to be abuse even if you are just walking; you need to run to maintain it.. I once got 40 Per by poly piling and getting lots of carrots. I'd suggest cloing them or SOCMing something into carrot flesh (I've never tried that but if ommel cerumen works....) Carry a banana peel and a shield to beat wimpy monsters with and you will see dex go up a ton but also Perception increases

I found out that You can easily increase agility by walking into, out of and tearing spider webs. As for END You can eat spider corpses, and slip on peels (which trains both AGI and END).

What sort of increase are we talking here with the spiderwebs, i.e. how high did you get your agility? Are you sure you're not mistaking the fact that your agility is hugely but temporarily penalized when you are stuck in a web (AGI goes red) and then returns to normal (AGI goes yellow) so that it looks like you got a bonus.

Water?!?! *Dones a test in wiz mode* It seems ALL lidquids cure exhaustion, even sulphic acid :roll: This allows one to run all day without stopping. I was able to reach 16 agi in 1 day. Also at 30 end I was able run for alot longer than at 10 end. More testing needs to be done.

You didn't know about drinking water?!?!? :shock:

We can create a poll somewhere. "Did you know about drinking water?" (I think it was the first thing I tried when found out fatigue implemented in the new version :) )

Wow, drinking sulpuric acid to cure exhaustion. You must still be playing with 9000 HP characters.

No more 9000+ hp characters for me. I was experimenting and notice that the trolls blood potion cured exhaustion. So I tried poison, and then the acid. It worked.... for a one move. :oops:

I wonder how many HP you need in order to survive drinking sulphuric acid? Any idea?

Was that a full bottle or half a bottle? I routinely get up to 300+ HP maybe I could survive half a bottle Good way to boost your endurance then. 1. find a bed or couch from an eddy in space time continuum or in Petrus' wives chamber 2. drink some acid. 3. heal in bed for no stats penalties I'll try this in wiz mode just to confirm it works.

Well in a bed you heal way faster and you can survive half a bottle at 20 End for 1 END bonus at at 40 End you can drink a whole bottle for no END bonus and I also suffered penalty of 1 point from Dex and Agi so this looks like no replacement for school food from mellis.
