Need help on killing Enner Beast
I got to GC 5, and I start to get hit by Enner Beast's screams. All my bottled potions are destroyed, and my Genie got killed by enner beast. Can you guys give me some tips on killing Enner Beast? My character has: Astr 15 Lstr 11 Dex 15 Agi 14 End 18 Per 10 Int 17 Wis 17 Cha 10 Siz 175 HP 127 My character's equipment: full iron helmet +2 arcanite plate mail +5 spider silk belt arcanite two-handed scimitar +1 a pair of gaunlets of strength +1 a pair of mithril boots Thanks in advance.

1) Dip ALL potions in cans with !. Then they dont break. 2)Get wand/scroll of teleportation, tele control, scroll of detect material and something BOOM thingys (wands that hurt, mines, backpacks aso). 3)Detect, tele, kill, clean.

Basically, you want to drop anything that could break and cause issues on the floor above -- including most wands and potions, and any extra gear you might have. You can also, as Drago said, put your potions into cans to prevent them from being lost. Next, you'll need teleport control, a method of teleporting (probably more than once), and a scroll of detect material. Haste and slow wands are also useful, as are a couple wands of striking or lightning. Fireballs can be dangerous, and don't carry too many wands. Use the detect material scroll to detect "enner beast flesh", that will show you where he is; make sure you're hasted, and teleport to near him but not adjacent, and fling some wand charges at him. Slow him first. If you manage to knock him out you should be safe to close for melee, but be quick about it. His scream is basically instant death at melee unless you have rediculous HP and enough armor to deck out a battleship. Good luck!

if you have a wand/ring of polymorph/polycontrol, you might want to poly into a powerful monster, then either blast him with wands and/or backpacks, or melee attack him. (I suggest wand slinging. as Atomic said, one scream is enough to kill even the most powerful monster at close range.)

If You happen to have a trained tame mistress whip champion, it may be Your lucky day - mine survived a couple of screams, but didn't take interest in killing the sucker.

Bad day: I once went down the stairs to GC5, with plenty of armor and everything I needed to kill Enner... only to find him sitting adjacent to the stairs. Bad situation.

Well, if You had a Mistress, she would figure it out faster than Enny and kill him, I suppose... Baaad situation. It's good If You see him after descending, but still keep SOME distance. Isn't that actually the perfect sit?

the point is for YOU to survive, and you certainly won't if Mr. Enner is standing next to you.

don't forget to rUn, and use wand of haste if you have it - speeds your attacks/moves. Enner is not hard to kill just three zaps with a wand of fireballs or striking, or try a pet Elite Guard. If you have 200 hp and good AS/DEX and a kcikass weapon (say adamantine turox +5) he's fun to melee too. Don't waste your genie as a pet use the wish instead.

Hey... nice tricks... most of all the detect mat + teleport I once killed the inner beast by chance simply throwing a backpack and zapping with the wand of fireball from far enough.. :lol: how lucky... unfortunately the mistress died as well in that occasion.. :cry:
