New way to massacre Attnam
I've yet to achieve this but I am trying hard and hope to soon but here is my idea- get the lyre of charm, magic whistle, and wands of resurrection clone lots of taming scrolls pray to dulcis pray to silva in Attnam to fill it with wolves pray to Nefas to get a bunch of mistresses Tame enough of attnam so that your pets kick the rest of attnam's ass. tame as much as possible with Dulcis (outside cathedral) Tame via lyre inside cathedral (take dwarves backpacks and equip them with armour and weapons) Tame toughest with scrolls I think the key to this is the elite guards. tame them all. take then down to GC 6 and deeper and equip them with 2H swords and halberds to train their stats. kill them 1 by one and resurrect them to give them super high END and HP enad equip them with cloned supergear (eg valupurium swords and good armour) being smart enought to change their mithril armour to Octiron helps. or maybe I'm thinking wrong and should train a super elite guard and then clone him a bunch of times can you clone your pet genie? Anyway the point is to sit back an watch as your army destroys Attnam Has anybody ever tried this before?

Indeed, IVAN has an efficient pet-system. If You train 3 mistresses ie. from UT2 until GC4, they will become so fast, well-equiped and powerful that You may dispatch them against the darn ENNER BEAST (dreaded organ music and Ugade-ugat choirs)!

Enner is a pussy anyway. What stats were you able to get your mistresses up to? BTW It seems that lately I've had no problems getting my elite guards to drink potions (to replace limbs or cure leprosy) maybe i just forgot to turn off dont consume anything vaulable. Means elite guards totally kick ass they kill enner to xinroch without any training or stats boosts.

Big Carnivorous Bunny as Pet
Dudes, If you want to have real fun, just have the huge carnivorous bunny follow you everywhere and turn every dungeon into a huge open room. His wrecking ball movements certainly beat the Hattifattener's in terms of yielding precious stones. You can also train up his strength real good by putting him up against mummies spawned, re-spawned, and made ultra tough by an army of necromancers.

Yeah, Vladimir is cool when he destroys walls but because he yields no weapons and wears no armour he's no match for an Elite guard. Good thought though - get Ivan and Vlad to help kick Attnum butt. I forgot about this idea and have never achieved my goal of destoying attnam with just pets.

I had the idea of cloning multiple monster bunnies. There's one god which gives me scrolls of recharge every so often (I can't remember who). But with about six bunnies, dual wielded golden eagle feather whips +10 and all valp. gear, I'm ready for anything! I set up a line of 5 valpurium bear traps yesterday and laughed my butt off watching the dark archknight rip his legs off trying to get out of them. Then of course he crawled into another trap like a dumbass. I haven't tried traps against the whip lady yet. Wonder if she'll take...

good idea! but the game scales it's difficulty according to your stats and gear, so simply bringing in a lot of bunnies, while wearing only mediocre gear yourself might make it easier for the bunnies to kill the town.

That is true for the dungeons, but AFAIK not the towns. All the NPC's in the town always have the same stats and gear - e.g. elite guards have all mithril armour +2 no matter how buff your character is. I also tried the valpurium bear trap method once for Golgor Dhan but, unfortunately for me, he had killed a previous incarnation of me and taken my valpurium belt of levitation +5 and just floated right over them and hacked off my head with one swipe. :shock:

You fool ! you created the ultimate Golgor dhan ! And with your second hero dead, you re gonna give even better equipment. Its gonna be even worse for the next poor banana grower who'll come around him. Can monsters wield artefacts ? What if this golgor dhan finds Neerc Se-ulb on one of your bodies ?

Anyway, despite the fact monsters can wield artifacts, Golgor Dhan isn't going to pick up the Neerc even if it does more damage than his scimitar, he doesn't have skill. He'd grab the Justifier if he gets the chance though :shock:

I actually found that bones file again and blew him up good with big backpacks, after I learned to use the "s" key. It makes a huge friggin difference - especially against sherarax.

Nope. When you search only a very short time passes on your turn and even superfast monsters move only one square. If you have dropped a pile of explosive gear (vodka, backpacks, used wands etc.) and try to blow it up exactly when the baddy is on top of the pile, it is very hard to do with fast baddies that move 3 to 5 squares when you hit the "." key. However if you hit "s" they move one square at a time and it is easy. Of course you can plant a mine to go off and detonate the rest of the gear but if the baddie has your former incarnation's belt of levitation then you are screwed unless you use "s" (and it has happened to me many times with Ur Khan, Golgor Dhan and Sherarax because they have killed me many times)

hey, I haven't thought of that before... how did I manage to get so deep into the GCs, anyway?
