My best was to the fight with Elpuri. At which point I completely failed to cause any significant harm to him and, subsequently, was eaten by him and his hoards of little friends. By the way, acid DOES NOT WORK against frogs. Just thought I'd point that out, in case it wasn't painfully obvious enough by the fact that they have acidic (or "acidous") blood.

My best game ended in GC7. What irritates me is my knowledge that I could have gone much further had I been slightly more cautious. I prayed to Mortifer without being appointed his champion; the consequences were dreadful.

Just had a nasty one. I started off with a fountain in the starting room. I got lycanthropy from it (not really bad since the werewolf form is pretty powerful for that point in the game), and then a green slime. The slime ended up killing my dog, but I killed it in the end. On that floor, I found an ommel hair armor of great health +1, or something along those lines. Not a bad start. UT2: I find an ommel tooth mace. I smile and equip it as soon as possible. I'm going through the level and am suddenly killed by a big explosion. I check the message logs and find out I got kamikazed on UT2... !#@%$ dwarves... I hope it left a bones file. I want that mace :/

Welcome, Neko! Though I must warn you. These forums are abandoned. I really ought to stop coming by, but every now and then I'm able to rescue someone from the spamfields. We're currently using the forum attnam .jconserv . net and are must less swamped by bots.

Yeah, nobody ever checks these forums, especially not me. If only we could kill the spambots and reclaim what is rightfully ours.

This while not my more greusome death exactly (the most would probably have involved leprocy) It was however my most disapointing and sad and hillarious death This character I had was the most powerful and unbeatable character I ever made He was strong and powerful, I drank Troll parts like I needed it to breathe. I could walk on Landmines like it was the the most of floors. I also had an amazing weapon that almost always chopped limbs off including heads. He was going to be the character I beat the game with (I really suck at the game) However one floor there was HUGE piles of treasure and a hundred wands of fireball and I was like "awsome", but I wasn't stupid... I searched every step (which I aways do in the second dungeon) However I touched a landmine and it blew up... no problem right? well... all my wands exploded and I almost died from thousands of charges exploding, I was missing one arm and one leg and everything was red. My equipment was too heavy so I had to drop a lot of it... Then a Kamakaze dwarf blew me up It was especially sad as quite frankly it was my greatest character ever...

For my first post I will post a pretty funny death that happened a while back. Although it was pretty gruesome too, it was actually more embarrasing. I was in room 3 of the first dungeon with almost full health, and walked into a pretty small room, no monsters, just a Steel Dagger I think, I wanted a character that could dual wield and already had a Bronze Dagger, so I went to get it. When I walked over to pick the dagger up, I slipped on a banana peel. My character fell on the floor and their groin started to bleed, I soon lost both legs. My chest started to bleed not much longer after, until I lost both arms. So all I could do was sit there because I had not found any books or altars of the gods, until my head started to bleed and I finally died an embarrasing, shameful death. :oops:
