Hmm. I think it would've been foolish to lie about a creature which anyone could check the name of in the .dat files. But I'm gratified to know that you know I'm not a liar :D .
What I meant to ask was, has anyone else had the same experience of veteran dwarves not dying from their own explosions, or is it just because of my character level?

I'm thinking it's most likely because of your stats.

So dwarves of all types that you've encountered suicide "correctly?"
blob- 08-07-2006
Yup, for my part.
dalboz- 08-07-2006
me too. they just go "BOOOOM" and all that's left of them afterwards is a pile of limbs and dwarf flesh. and a book.
blob- 08-07-2006
pretty impressive how those books are resistants.
Freelance Berzerker- 08-07-2006
That is pretty funny when you think about it. The dwarf and everything else goes (except in my game), but the book doesn't even get touched!
Ernomouse- 08-08-2006
I think the book most often burns...

Hey, what's up man!
Haven't seen any of your fanfic entries lately...
dalboz- 08-08-2006
I've always found books on dwarf corpses.
Freelance Berzerker- 08-08-2006
Me too, even when my character was relatively unpowerful.
Ernomouse- 08-08-2006
Freelancer: Just wrote another post. Tried to give someone new a try, but seems only a few people are writing. More than us two, but still.
Unpowerful. Well, I guess it depends... I've never been killed by a sceleton, though. =) Maybe you were just unlucky?
(Totally off-topic, but nevermind, right...)
Freelance Berzerker- 08-09-2006
Enormous: Thanks man. I added a "Mirthful Juxtaposition" to go with your Chad-only part.
dalboz- 08-09-2006
books can't be destroyed, right?
Somagu- 08-09-2006
I'm not certain, I don't recall finding books after being boomed by a suicide dwarf.
