spider silk golem??
I am having big problems killing the creature Experiment ZQ-29 (a spider silk golem). I can't see the creature but I do have ESP, do I possibly need infravision?? And my character is pretty descently equipped; i have a steel arm and a leg, mithril chainmail +6, a flaming adamantine sword +6 in my right hand and a meteoric steel longsword +6 in my left hand. Along with a bunch of other strong stuff, but what should I do to take this guy down?? Plant/throw some mines or use some bavkpacks full of gunpowder?? If anyone knows how to see him it would be a great help.

Golems, being mindless creatures, can't be seen by ESP. Infravision might help. I don't know how to beat that particular guy as I've never met him.

If I remember correctly golems cannot be seen by infravision because they are not warm.

I usually just kill it without even noticing :) But spider silk is quite flexible, so you may have a problem hitting it with a steel arm/leg. To see it, maybe SoDM works, but your best way for seeing it is probably entering a narrow corridor, so it has no choice where to be. I think scroll of taming works on it, but never tried it myself.

Whomg double topic revival of doom-ness! Okay, im done now :P All I can suggest against him is that you have fast weapons and flexible limbs.

I never even met the golem and I played the game about 100 times... Maybe you stat-scumed and thats your reward :D

He's just a really hard enemy that only spawns if you have tough armor and high stats. 'Nuff said.

Is it possible to tame the golem? I mean, it could come in handy to have something so strong on your side...
