Yup.
I then proceeded to go into wizard mode and beat the game for my first time. Randomly on the level before Elpuri, Vladmir the giant Mutant Rabbit appeared and I tamed him. Together, we attacked Elpuri.
Well, he did.
Eventually the damned bunny panicked and started running. I kicked him as punishment.
He didn't like that very much. >_>
Needless to say, I walked through that hell gate with my entire body covered in fur and acidic blood.
Oh yeah, you know that Ivan guy? Three steps into Elpuri's layer, he got turned into a carniverous plant and got eaten. Sucker.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Sparticus, killed in GC1 by a werewolf. 8331 Points.
UT1: Adamantine flaming longsword, meteoric steel helmet, multiple gods, ommel hair whip.
UT2: Hardened leather whip +3 (3-6 dmg!)
UT3: Amulet of ESP, ring of searching, assorted armors of ass-kicking such as boots of strength
GC1: Scroll of wishing (used it on a SocM), more assorted armors of awesomeness, Ommel bone shield
GC2: Scroll of wishing
I waltzed into GC2, feeling unstoppable. But then, a werewolf attacked. It started beating the shit outta me, and I couldn't stop him. I tried to run, but he followed me to GC1. If only I had bought the wand of teleporting in Attnam. >_<
I better get this guy's bonefile. He still has that second wish scroll on him.
unknown_entity- 11-22-2005
I unstickied this since nobody ever posts in it.
Besides me. :P
So yeah, I found my last guy's bone file.
What did I end up wielding by GC3, you ask? Whip of thievery +4 and a adamantine flaming long sword +2.
My armor? Ommel hair...+6.
I had like 84 HP too.
Stupidly, I ONCE AGAIN decided to save that second wish scroll for something BESIDES an amulet of life saving. Seriously, who needs to SAVE their life?
I stepped on a big mine in GC3, which didn't hurt me too bad...Until the big mines to the left and right of me also exploded. Damn you dwarven mine fields...DAMN YOU!!!
Sparticus, killed by a big land mine on GC3. 5887 points.

The reason nobody posts on here is, I think the only people who still play IVAN at thsi point are the newbs and the losers. Oh... wait...
That, and I don't get any interesting deaths any more...
topo_- 11-22-2005
Awww... I still play IVAN... BUt only at work... what does that make me? A n00b or a loser?
Slob- 11-22-2005
I play IVAN religiously and often die gruesomely but no longer derive pleasure from bitching about how i died.
lobban- 11-23-2005
Doh! Now I've died in an even worse way than before. I had a really god game throughout UT. I found Attnamn and bought and sell like crazy til I reached a point when I was really satisfied with my armor, weapon and other stuff. When entering GC nothing could stop me. (sorry for not giving any details of my weapons or other gear, this happened like several weeks ago). Then when entering this cool room I found a beautiful fountain. I couldn't resist taking the risk of enemies swarming up from the fountain, it was too tempting. However the first zip didn't do anything and I thought the second would be safe enough to give it another shot. Of course the fountqain just swallowed me (don't know how it spells). The next I knew I was in GC3. Something, probably a screaming thingie screamed my head of.. That was brutal..!
Somagu- 11-23-2005
... NOOOOOOO RE STICKY IT OR I WILL DE-STROY YOU.
Atomic- 12-15-2005
This was brutal. And careless of me.
I was running along, trying to make a blunt-weapons character, aiming for Neerc Se-ulb from Mortifer (which would have been nice if I could have only found a damn Mortifer altar). For most of the game I used a steel warhammer, eventually backed up by a birtch shield +3 I found. Two bones files in the UT, nothing useful on either one (as I expected). GC was a breeze, only interesting things there were a random necromancer (first I've seen before Enner) and an ommel tooth armor of greath health +1 (Yummy!)
Found the minefield. Explored it, located every mine, went looting. Found some backpacks of gunpowder, which my packrat instinct forced me to pick up. Error one. Got lazy and didn't pack all my potentially hazardous items in my box. Error two. Found a broken Turox, repaired it with a scroll, and wielded it. Error three. You can geuss what happened next.
"Hi kitty!"
*BOOM* KABOOOM BOOM BAM BANG *ZAP*
"ZOMG MY ARM! MY HEAD! MY ---"
*dead*
By the way, does anyone know if Mortifer is like Valpurus in that you have to be champion before he does anything for you?
Slob- 12-15-2005
Yes I f you are a champ he gives you his fancy mace
Atomic- 12-15-2005
I knew that. The question was whether you have to be champ before he'll do ANYTHING worthwhile. For example, Valpurus will smite you if you pray to him, unless you are a champ, in which case he gives you nice valpurium gear.
Slob- 12-15-2005
Thats why the first part of my answer was YES |?374|?|)!!!!
Atomic- 12-15-2005
Could have clarified. In any case I experimented. Dark matter really ****ing hurts. That's OK though because it was a 5 minute character anyways.
Apsu- 12-16-2005
You want a grusom death? Okay, this is a pretty horrible one.
I was levitating around GC level something, when I suddenly noticed a big mine beside me. Ok, that's nothing. I'm levitating and I found it alreay - I thought. But I can't belive what happened then. An orc teleported. Ok that happens. But that bastard orc teleported on the big mine just beside me. Teleporting orcs are nasty beasts when teleporting on mines. Well it exlpoded, I got really hurt (got lots of wands with me) and then I died.
Golgar Dhan and Ur Khan are nothing compared with teleportating orcs. Yeah. Nearly worse than Elpuri, they are :(
