I tought it would save lot of time and space if I would ask everything i want to know about IVAN in one topic, so...

1. How can I improve my skills? I know that I get more LStr from carrying lots of stuff and that Agi growns when you run, and you get Int and Wis if you read holy books and scrolls and from science talk, but how can I improve other skills?

2. What kind of infernal monster lurks in Gloomy Cave 7, atleast something stole my items and turned bunnies invisible and they ate my limbs and after that they had nice apetite from my growns

3. How do I do science talk?

4. How can I use Tele- or PolyControl. I know that if they are white they just happen time to time, but if I have perminent, how do i use them?

5. What good does the sofas do in middle of a cave, and for what reason they sometimes appear and is it a good thing?

6. What does the magical whistle do?

7. Whats with the burning banana?

I bet most (all ) of these are answer around the forum, but most likely (atleast I think) they are scattered around in their own topics.

4 telecontrol (wear ring, weild vermis or Justifier, drink from fountain) just read scroll of teleport or zap yourself with wand of teleport

Polycontrol (ring, fountain, justifier) wear ring of polymorph, zap yourself with wand of polymorph or pray to scabies

5 Sofa's pop out of eddies in the space time continuum (read Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy) if you sit in them and rest you heal much faster without AGI penalty

6. magical whistle teleports your pets to you. can be used once every 6 hours
