A new section, "Graphics", has been added to IvanWiki. This is your way to offer your graphics for the developers to be included in an official release of IVAN. I will review your graphics and add them if they are suitable.

We are making a conversion from 16x16 graphics to 32x32 graphics. 32x32 images of items and mosters are appreciated! However, the conversion may be delayed, so also 16x16 graphics are good.

Blob's Alien Queen has been used as an example on how to properly add your picture to IvanWiki.

By uploading your picture to Wiki you agree to it being added to the game and distributed under the GNU licence.

Just a few questions,

I use gif to show how a picture should be animated. sometime the same frame is used several time. If this cant be done on wiki do i keep sending new graphics to holy ( with .gif, .pcx, ect... )?

also i have no idea if the aliens are copyrighted.

and hmm i guess normal 32x32 monsters become 64x64 ?

Parodies etc are exempt from copyright. I guess we can call anything in IVAN a parody Smile

If you use the same frame several times, just put each frame in order, side by side, even if some were same. I can edit that out later and give holykiwi a description on how the animation should be.

Currently I'm active in all forums. Knowing me, this might change without prior notice for months. I just put on the Master Ring and *puuf* vanish in a puff of logic. But remember, I always return and IVAN will continue as certainly as Valpuri carrieth the Universe.
