OK, so I'm just horribly bored. This here thread is just something to do. Yes, it is blatant postwhoring to post in it but, it's also an entertaining way to learn something about your fellow IVANer.
The rules are simple. You answer the question of the person before you, then post one of your own. I'll start off with...
Q: Where do you live, and what's it like there? _________________ "Also, I'm the only person I know capable of a pelvic pary and riposte." -- Squashmonster
I moderate in red.

I live in Brighton, on the south coast of England. It's a happy town, with a very bohemian atmosphere where, for the most part, cultures intermingle fairly seamlessly.
We have two piers, one of which contains the worst kind of tourist trash, and another of which has burned down & mostly fallen into the sea. As the sun sets, the burnt pier is fairly beautiful, the other pier is a garish mass of flashing lights and noise.
For the most part, everyone here seems quite happy. Even the spooky kids are generally not as miserable as they claim. There's something here for everyone, and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else (my attempts at living elsewhere have always driven me back here).
Question (stolen from somewhere else on the internet). You're put in a room filled with five year olds. It's a case of you die or they die. How many do you think you could kill before they overwhelmed you, and what tactics would you use? No weapons are allowed.
:Edit: I had previously put in another question, but it was seriously dull. _________________ Inconceivable |

A few dozen, fatigue really is going to play more of a role here than actual difficulty.
Anyway, start in the center of the room, since that seems most fair. Fake a fighting stance and look menacing until one sneaks up behind me. Kick him in the head. Foot goes down, next foot goes up, turn around, kick another in the side of the head.
Stand still again, try to look intimidating. Wait for a few more, sweep kick. Punch somebody else in the head. Get a few more in the head too.
Work way towards corner of room. Clear corner out. Stand just beyond kicking range from corner.
Rest gets repetative. Kick anything at the end of my range in the side of its head. A bit closer gets a flat kick in the chest or stomach. A bit closer gets a punch in the head. Closer still gets a punch in the throat. Any closer than that gets a very nice little combo I learned, it's a series of punches: stomach, groin, then head. Yet closer and I try to throw them with my knee. Closer than that and the plan goes away. Usually rely on spinning with my fists out to clear some room then kick whatever looks dazed. Once they get me to the floor, prettymuch all going to be punching towards the neck.
Strange thing is I'm a pacefist and wouldn't likely actually do anything other than throw a few of them into eachother until they got the point.
Anyway, the next question is a rather obvious continuation of the violent theme: what's your favorite weapon? |

A: My favorite weapon would have to be the Jackhammer. Not sure if it's real or not but I've seen it in a couple games, incl. Max Paine; basically, think assault rifle crossed with shotgun. Pumps out 12-gauge shells like it was nothing.
For melee I'd have to go with either sais, tonfas or a small axe.
I'm assuming we're not including vehicles or sci-fi gear in this.

Daggers, Personally I like fact that they hit almost every time, block almost every time, and do alright damage if I get the +(s) and the right materials.
Should I go to the 2nd story obligated dungion as soon as I am able to? |

Ninja'd!
BTW, I think he was talking IRL, not ingame... I'll go ahead and answer for you though:
A: Probably, yeah. Stop in Attnam first though.

10th - 12th century European warfare for its inventiveness, tactics, weaponry & sheer brutality. Alternatively, Japanese feudal era, because Samurai are cool.

Is there anything else to do?
Question: Because I can't think of anything else... In a straight fight between Indiana Jones & James Bond, who would win? _________________ Inconceivable |

We would get Jones, because he apparently drank from the lead mug of immortality (I think. Right, right?), but, assuming Jones isn't being a haxx0r, we'll have Bond win by a hair. Assuming the afore-mentioned hair was pre-modified to shoot lasers, acid and Russian women.
Alright, here we go, what's your political philosophy? _________________ <[BOT]FLUFFY> ... sounds sexual.
<Mosgerion> No, sounds like a parasitic life from is ripping apart it's innards.

<Mosgerion> I think I'll check out that link now. |

A: Well, Indiana Jones would use his whip to disarm Bond, but then James Bond would probably use a laser watch to amputate Jones' hand wielding the whip. Jones would proceed to do something cool...like do a flip over Bond and aim a bullet at Bond's neck. Unfortunately, Bond would predict his foolish move and matrix dive backwards while kicking Jones straight in the babymakers. Jones would go down, and Bond would place a bullet in Jones' skull.
BOND=WINNAR

A: My political philosophy is something along the lines of "Bush sucks balls. Get him out." I'm not really in any party, though both my parents are democrats. I mean come on, I've only been part of one election, I havn't really formed strong political ideas yet.
A2: Well, in Tekken, there's one throw (it isn't a finishing move because they don't have them, but it's damn cool way to kill someone), where the guy runs up the other guy, then does a backflip and bodyslams them. It's sweet.
BTW, when you post, might be smart to check if you got ninja'd (had someone post an answer to the question you're answering before you), and edit if appropriate...

I'm not answering the "Q: If you could live in any place on Earth, where would you live?", because I did that earlier (Brighton, UK - where I live now).
My favourite finishing move occurs in any version of Worms, where your opponent is on his last worm, and that worm is close to water. Using "prod" is both the cheapest & most offensive way to finish the round.
So, away from the finishing move question & going back to the rules of the thread (read the first post) - I'll reiterate Atomic's question.

Ideally, I would live in San Diego. Only if there was no cost so I didn't have to pay for it
Imagine the ocean breezes on your face and the ability to visit the balley high any time ya want...awesomeness.
Good one Vizzini...I love Worms games ^_^

I would definitely live in the dark and gloomy world of demon's crest ( the sequel to gargoyle's quest with the recurrent bad guy from ghoul's n ghost ). The human bones town would be my sweet home and i'd occasionally raid to the human world for fresh princess.

A: Sephiroth, because he's badass. Or else Blank from FF9, 'cus he's pretty badass too. Just like me. heh.

hmm...thats a tough one Atomic. Its kinda a tie for me. Either Cliff from Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, or Master Chief from Halo. Seriously, I would crap my pants if I were a covenant and saw M.C. Coming round the corner with a sword...*shudder*
Q: What is your overall favourite game and game type? They don't have to be the same. _________________ Sponges beat the devil because sponges are badass.~SquashMonster
