I was in the level 2 at the underwater tunnel. And appeared a kamikase dwarf and killed me. It never happened before, how can we avoid him?
I was training the End skill before join the cave... Is that the reason?
Dont used the wizard skill |

More END = more HP. You'll find stronger enemies as your HP (and a few other factors) increases.
To avoid him completely, you would have to see him before he could hit you with ESP. Then you'd have to take him out with a lightning/striking/fireball wand from a good, safe distance.
To reduce the damage he does to you if he actually scores a hit, cloaks and rings of fire resistance are a good idea, as is having generally good AV scores on all your gear. Keep your scrolls and wands in a chest or a strongbox, too, to reduce the chance of them burning or exploding.
More often than not, it won't be the Kamikaze Dwarf itself that kills you, but the resulting explosion of a Wand of Lightning or something that you didn't keep in a box, protected from explosions. |

| cloak of fire resistance is the best, enchant it to plus 5 and you won;t be damaged at all. Also you can make yourself invisible and the dwarf can;t see you then you can kill him by throwing things at him and take his gunpowder |

| I prefer 1 cloak of electrical resistance and 2 rings of fire resistance, since the covers the mages as well. As far as I know there are now rings of electrical resistance, so this is the best choice if you're heading into a dwarf/mage infested place. At the higher levels, pretty all that spawn are dwarves and mages. The dwarves I've encountered are so powerful they suicide bomb, manage to keep living, and then hit you with their books! |

actually, it shouldn't be possible. it's the fact that Freelance's char is now practically a god.
also, how much does getting bonked by books hurt? _________________ "Think like a madman" |

| Well, first about the dwarves. Have any of you encountered "advanced disciples of ~?" These are the guys I'm talking about that can suicide bomb and then start melee without breaking a sweat. If you've got your +10 anti-fire cape and 2 rings elec resistance, you're good against the fire attack. But if you're not nicely armored up and equipped with a good blocking weapon (ie: 2-handed sword), be prepared to get "booked" for about 150~200 hp. |

| Advanced disciples? Never heard of 'em, much less seen or encountered one. They're not in any of the lists either. Could you post an image featuring one with the 'l'ook feature? I can't summon one either, and I'm sure some of the characters I've created would have caused one to spawn, as I mess around in WizMod as often as I play a normal game. |

to the best of my knowledge, there is only one type of kamikaze dwarf per god. _________________ "Think like a madman" |

Actually there are two, Kamikaze dwarves and Veteran kamikaze dwarves which have a much bigger boom. I call bullshit on Freelance Bezerker, I bet all he ever does is play in wizmode. Advance disciples my ass. Unless perhaps they are in the CVS. |

| Perhaps I got the name wrong. They don't look like your standard dwarves; the apparel is different. I will write down the name next time one of these spawn. These mothers are STRONG. |

Oh, sorry. I guess I was referring to the veterans.
Is it standard for them to go on living even after they've self-detonated?
At any rate, I've found that both normal and veteran dwarves are pretty much immune to their backpacks at this point in the game. |

You sort of just answered your own question there.
Good to have this resolved, though, I was starting to question your honesty. _________________ FROG BLAST THE VENT CORE!
