It just occurred to me that the name of Thor's hammer is Mjolnir, which sounds kind of like Mjolak.

Given the languages which the devs are fluent, the names of each artifact weapon probably mean something.

Anyone know what Vermis means in Finnish? (I'm just grasping at straws here. I don't know if the weapon names are given in Finnish or not.)

Vermis is a part of the brain.

As for the others, I'm afraid I have no idea.

Have you googled anything about IVAN in Chinese?

I got this after searching for the meaning of "Mjolak":

【バナナ】イヴァンスレ【バナナ】
今、雪山で Mjolak っつーハルバード拾ったんだが、 直後にいきなり UGHAaaa っつー 叫び声聞いて死んだよ。 ... Mjolakと壊れたMjolak手に入れて、手元にrepairスクロール あったけど使うとなんか、まずいことになりそうな気がして、使わなかった実際、 ...

Love reading about kewl games in other languages.

EDIT: Of course I realize that the above is in Japanese. Just wondering if you had read anything about the game in Chinese.

"Turok" (Turox) is a series of games that involves you killing hordes of mutated dinosaurs.

We could also think about the names of monsters and gods. Lobh-Se and Inlux (previously called Xunil) are anagrams.
